Miswa Chemicals are an internationally recognized manufacturer of automotive products, distributing throughout the globe.  UK based, Miswa currently manufactures over 7 million litres of brake fluid per year and our POLYGARD label is well known in more than 40 countries.

Established in 1979, Miswa Chemicals Ltd is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that has made its reputation based on producing quality and value for money products and offering these in high quality, high profile packaging. Producing automotive aftercare and body repair products under the brand names POLYGARD and POLYTEC, more recently a range of homecare products has been successfully introduced under the Polygard Pavan, Kilit and Chirak labels.

Manufacturing

In 1988 Miswa Chemicals invested in a purpose built manufacturing plant in Northampton, England. International demand has influenced and encouraged the overall growth plans of the Company and in 1999 additional processing and manufacturing facilities were completed. As a result our on site bulk liquid storage capacity now exceeds 3000 metric tonnes and our production capacity now exceeds 250 aerosols and 500 cans of liquid per minute.

This increased capacity allows Miswa great flexibility to meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations, and has enhanced our position in the brake fluid market for many years to come. The combination of capacity, flexibility and responsiveness and our ability to procure bulk materials of total quality, has enabled us to maintain the Polygard brand of brake fluid as the best on the market today, both in terms of quality and cost to the end user.

Embracing Total Quality            

Quality control is an important factor for any manufacturing organisation, however it becomes a vital part of the production process for brake fluids and other products of critial importance in their operating environments. To maintain POLYGARD and our other brands in their market leading positions, Miswa embraces the principles of Total Quality and undertakes stringent checks throughout the manufacturing process and the storage of raw materials. Raw material suppliers are carefully vetted to ensure delivery and quality standards are always met. All raw materials are further tested by our own internal laboratory prior to acceptance, and then they are stored in dedicated stainless steel storage tanks to ensure no corrosion or product contamination takes place. Finally Miswa's laboratory testing of existing products also has a direct bearing on future research and developments into new products and manufacturing methods.
